Lori was thrilled to join the Appalachian community in April 2022. As a Program Associate, she currently supports the Student Learning Center and Academic Services for Student-Athletes.
Lori's background includes deep experience driving IT projects within higher education and private sectors. In the past, she has worked for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the UNC System Office, Jaggaer (an e-procurement software provider), and most recently, Red Hat (the world's leading provider of enterprise open source solutions). In all of her roles, Lori thrives on enabling teams to do their best work, and she looks forward to supporting her App State teams every day. Originally from Ohio, Lori earned a Master's degree in English from The Ohio State University before moving to the Raleigh-Durham area over 20 years ago. She recently moved to Foscoe with her husband, son, and two cats and is enjoying her new mountain adventures.
