Beverly Moser

Dr. Beverly Moser has traveled and worked extensively in the U.S., Germany, Austria, and Japan, where she has taught German, English as a Second Language. She regularly takes students abroad and on Study Away trips to NY City to explore international contexts there. Dr. Moser has received Appalachian's Global Educator Award and served as a Fellow in Intercultural Competence with the Office of International Education and Development. She has been deeply engaged with global learning at Appalachian for over 15 years. For much of this, she helped host Fulbright international teachers from five continents. She is joined in Fall 2021 by colleagues from Russia, China, and Tunisia from her home department, Languages, Literatures, and Cultures, who will connect us to cultures in Europe, Asia and the Arab world.
