Liz Alliss is a graduate of UNC Charlotte (BA Middle Grades Education) and Appalachian State (MA Higher Education) who works in higher education administration. The majority of her focus is on college access issues for LGBTQ students, rural students, and first-generation college students. Liz has been teaching for the past four years in adult and continuing education classrooms and has presented a plethora of workshops in LGBTQ college access, job readiness, and college recruitment for marginalized populations. Liz enjoys spending time with her family and pets. She is also an avid crafter and builder in her spare time.
