Hallie Bowen

Hallie Bowen is a Coordinator in University Housing. Before stepping into this role Bowen has played many roles in the Appalachian Community. She completed her undergraduate degree in public relations and her masters in higher education with a concentration in leadership, both from Appalachian State. During her undergraduate career she spent her time creating community around her. She worked in University Housing as Night Assistant and Resident Assistant, served as Membership Experience in APPS, was a desk volunteer in the Henderson Springs LGBT Center, and served on various committees in Alpha Omicron Pi. While completing her master’s program she invested her time in committees and book clubs devoted to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and served as a senator for the Graduate Student Government Association. Now, she serves as the Chapter Advisor for Alpha Omicron Pi and is committed to continuing to build community and wellness around her. In her free time, she loves reading and spending time with her spouse and her dog, Artemis.
